Neville is the quiet type. Discovered chilling under a rock around a year ago, he has become a firm favourite here in the Prickly World. Neville is a shy guy, likes to hang out in shady spots. He is somewhat of a hoarder – If you see a collection of rocks forming, you know there is a Neville around. Although he may be shy, he is an excellent listener and liked nothing more than to lend a fluffy ear.
We have some sad news though. Neville is now an endangered species. The planet that provides the very special dna string needed to grow a neville has been destroyed in a freak accident involving a leaf blower and a misplaced stick of TNT. Fortunately a small supply has been located on planet garage – but sadly, once this is exhausted, there will be no more Nevilles………
Cherish him while you can.

A seed fallen from the bird feeder, you could say she had a lucky escape. Trodden into the soil by the gardener's boot, sunny lay waiting. The rain came and the sun shone and sunny felt a warmth growing in her heart. The warmth grew until she could no longer contain it in her tiny seedcase. Slowly she reached up, pushing toward the sky. Rising up, up up until she towered above the other plants. Then, something strange happened, an odd feeling overcame her. She felt a joyous feeling that she could contain no more and her face opened up, beaming, surrounded by a halo of yellow sunshine that lit up the world around her. Sunny had finally found her true mission - to spread that feeling of joy and happiness and to make everyone around her explode with happiness.
These days, sunny likes nothing better than to chill out on a brightly lit windowsill. Although, she is equally happy to bring light to a dark corner if the need arises. She is an avid conversationalist however and does like to chat if given the chance.

My name is Sarah and I am Head Horticultural Yarnologist at My Cactus Adventure. I do have and assistant but he is usually off cultivating dinosaurs and the like. We also employ a hairy hound who attempts to quality check if I were to let him but is easily distracted and usually late for work.
My Cactus Adventure started life as Emilylovesbagpuss, but I thought once we became world famous then the estates of Peter Firmin and Oliver Postgate wouldn’t be best pleased. One day, a regular customer said “Im going to take my cactus on an adventure” and there you go – My Cactus Adventure was born.
My crochet pals have since travelled all over the world and one of them even had his own instagram account for a while. Many of them now live over the pond and in places like Germany, Belgium and even Thailand.
What was once a hobby for “Pin money” has now become a way to support my son and I ( and our menagerie) and I truly do appreciate every purchase made and put a whole lot of love into each of my creations
